Precog

Based on the Theory of Fixed Points, space-time is a rigid manifold where high-entropy events create “Causal Echoes” that ripple backward and forward along the temporal axis. The psion acts as a biological antenna, sensing the echoes before their physical occurrence.

This perk turns a character capable of manifesting psionic power into a strategic asset. However, once identified by a government or a corporation, their personal freedom is at risk of being restricted by such groups. Registration is mandatory in most sectors, and unregistered psions are hunted by special task forces.

In settings where Psionics are widely known, some laws offer limited protections to precogs, as they are seen as strategic assets that are better to keep on your side, than on your enemy’s side. Oppression has proved counterproductive, since a precog that goes underground or deserts to other faction is a great loss. Most factions go to great lenghts to keep their precogs hidden from other factions, and the consequences of a precog being outed can be severe.
