Jugar (PER)

This specialty skill represents a hero’s proficiency at various games of chance. With each purchase, the player selects a different game.

Success allows estimating odds, determining if a game is rigged, counting cards, and spotting a cheater.

Contests

If playing honestly, the winner is the one with the highest success level. Situation modifiers are based on the opponent’s skill:

• Untrained opponent: -2 bonus.
• Trained opponent (same or lower rank): no modifier.
• Trained opponent (higher rank): +2 penalty.

Cheating

If a hero decides to cheat, different modifiers apply:

• Untrained opponent: -3 bonus.
• Trained opponent (same or lower rank): +1 penalty.
• Trained opponent (higher rank): +3 penalty. On any Critical Failure, the hero is caught cheating.

  Results	Description
  Ordinary	Success indicates that the hero wins the pot plus 1/2.
  Good	Success indicates that the hero wins the pot plus an equal side bet.
  Amazing	Success indicates that the hero wins the pot plus twice that amount.
